Our ethos is rooted in the understanding that the outdoors offers a rich resource for boosting young peoples’ development and confidence and enables learners of all strengths and abilities to unlock their potential. Our range of enriching programmes are carefully designed to equip children and young people with life-long skills and encourages healthy mental, emotional and physical well- being.


Forest Found are passionate about getting girls outside. ‘ Rooted’ is an exciting and ambitious 10 week programme committed to supporting girls facing particular challenges around self-worth, self- confidence and specific issues around emotional and mental well-being.

Sessions are run by a qualified secondary teacher and forest school practitioner alongside a qualified counsellor. We provide a safe, sensitive and supportive environment in which we equip and empower girls through engaging and meaningful sessions that aim to have a long-term impact.


As firm supporters of parents who want to explore different ways of schooling, these sessions have been specifically designed for Home Educated children.They offer opportunities to learn, explore, create and play in a variety of magical woodland settings.

Run by an experienced teacher and Forest School Practitioner, this exciting and relevant programme offers children the chance to learn within a rich informal play environment whilst developing vital emotional and social tools to equip them to face challenges, become resilient learners and creative thinkers.


We are also able to offer a range of other programmes that follow the Forest Schools’ ethos of child led learning and play.

Providing bespoke curriculum relevant options to support the learning that goes on in the classroom, we can facilitate one- off sessions, deliver long-term programmes and tailor training that inspires and excites educators about using the outdoors and the natural world to engage and motivate learners.
